Classic House Music Label
Sub Urban Records is a record label that was founded in 1990 by Tommy Musto and Silvio Tancredi. The label is based in New York City and focuses on the genres of house, techno, and electronic dance music.
Tommy Musto is an American DJ and record producer who has been active in the music industry since the 1980s. He has worked with a number of well-known artists in the dance music scene, including Frankie Knuckles, David Morales, and Masters at Work. Musto is also known for his remixing work, having remixed songs for artists such as Whitney Houston and Madonna.
Silvio Tancredi is also an American DJ and record producer who has been active in the music industry since the 1980s. He has worked with a number of well-known artists in the dance music scene, including Frankie Knuckles, David Morales, and Todd Terry.
Together, Musto and Tancredi founded Sub Urban Records as a platform for releasing their own music as well as music from other up-and-coming artists in the dance music scene. Over the years, the label has released a number of popular tracks, including “Love and Happiness” by River Ocean, “It’s Alright, I Feel It!” by Nuyorican Soul, and “Stand Up” by Love Tribe.
Sub Urban Records has played an important role in the development of house and techno music, and the label continues to release new music from emerging artists in the dance music scene today.
